Family law can be complicated. Legal issues overlap with emotional issues. Often there are children who are the main focus of the case but must be shielded from the process at the same time. Finances are heavily impacted. Even a "simple" case can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming. While I am not a therapist or relationship counselor--and will likely advise you to seek that help if appropriate--I am sensitive to the issues present in each case.
